Privacy Policy

This policy explains how How to France processes your personal data under the GDPR and the French loi Informatique et Libertés. The data controller is Jules de Bruin, contactable at julesdbruin@gmail.com.

What data we collect and why

  • Analytics (Google Analytics 4, Vercel Analytics, Plausible): aggregate usage to improve the site. Legal basis: consent / legitimate interest.
  • Affiliate tracking: when you click an outbound partner link, the partner network may set identifiers to attribute a referral. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
  • Contact: if you email us, we keep your message to reply. Legal basis: legitimate interest.

Who we share data with

We use Vercel (hosting), Google and Plausible (analytics), and affiliate networks. Some providers are based outside the EEA; transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

Retention

Analytics data is retained for up to 26 months. Emails are kept while needed to handle your request.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object to processing, and to withdraw consent. Email us to exercise them. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL.

Cookies

Non-essential cookies (analytics, affiliate) are set only with your consent via our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time.
